The examples listed here demonstrate the variety of solutions Industrial Control Engineering Ltd. has found in answer to customer challenges.
Faced with the need to support difficult communication challenges while still using a legacy radio network, a radio system installer came to Industrial Control Engineering Ltd. in 2010 after radio manufacturers could not help. Together a controller was developed to join two radios as an integrated crossband system. Over years, the small numbers installed grew to be hundreds.

Sometimes legacy radio systems don't get replaced. After 9 years making the same crossband system controller to support its client, Industrial Control Engineering Ltd. developed and supplied a newer version to support additional features. Both versions are robust and reliable - as they were intended to be.

ICEL and Remote Safe Ltd. jointly planned and designed the Co Buddy product range. This combined short and long-range radio communication to inform a monitoring centre of the exact location of workers who have either fallen or are in need of assistance.
ICEL designed the electronics and wrote the software for most components of the Co Buddy range. |
When it comes to the process modelling and control optimisation, Industrial Control Engineering Ltd. isn't afraid to crunch the maths and find a practical way to apply it. With our help, Malteurop NZ continually strives to minimise the energy used to produce malt.

Our brief was to find a way of sensing whether the siren of an emergency vehicle was in use and operate an input of a well proven piece of equipment. The solution had to be packaged well enough to be easily retro-fitted to over 400 vehicles.
Industrial Control Engineering was able to devise a robust solution that was elegant in its simplicity, exceeding the customer's expectations. |
